About the Journal
Majallathu- Allugah is India’s first peer-reviewed, indexed academic e-journal in Arabic. The journal focuses on research and studies in Arabic language and literature. Allugah publishes articles after an Academic and scientific peer review. Allugah is being published under the auspices of the Allugah Foundation. Allugah Foundation was established in August 2014 in, Kerala, India by Dr. Mujeeb Akkara Kulavan, Dr. Sufyan Abdul Sathar and Dr. Mohamed Sabah Ellathodi, to promote quality-based academic research in the field of Arabic language and literature and related studies and to enrich literary activities, literary translation and publication. The first issue of Majallathu Allugah was published in October 2014. In 2019 Allugah Foundation started publishing allugah lil-funooon on the platform of allugah.online exclusively for literature. Majallathu Allugah started publishing in October 2014. The periodicity of publication was quarterly till Volume 3 Issue 4, 2017. Then periodicity was changed to Biannual in 2018.
